Mark Esposito

Mark Esposito is Professor of Strategy and Technology Policy at Northeastern University, where he also serves as Affiliated Scientist at the Global Resilience Institute and Fellow at the Center for Emerging Markets, with concurrent appointments as Faculty Associate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School, the Center for International Development at Harvard Kennedy School, and the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University. He is also a Senior Associate at the University of Cambridge, an Adjunct Professor of Policy at Georgetown University. An active contributor to three World Economic Forum initiatives on AI, advanced manufacturing and converging technologies, he currently serves as Chief Economist of micro1, a Silicon Valley AI lab, and Senior Advisor to the Innovation Center of Strategy& (PwC) in the Middle East. Recognized in 2016 by Thinkers50 Radar as one of the world's top 30 business thinkers, Dr. Esposito is the author of more than 150 publications and 14 books. His latest work, Becoming AI Native (Routledge, 2026), explores the next frontier of artificial intelligence. He holds a doctoral degree from École des Ponts ParisTech in France.
