Erik Dalaker

Erik Dalaker is a B.A. candidate in Economics and a B.A./M.A. candidate in Modern Middle East Studies at Harvard University, from Rennesøy, Norway. His research interests lie at the intersection of geopolitics and economics, with a particular focus on sovereign wealth funds of the Gulf states. He is passionate about diplomacy and international development, and, at Harvard, he founded the Global Affairs Program of the Harvard Institute of Politics. Previously, Erik has worked in Doctors Without Borders, the Policy and Society Institute of Jordan, and the European Commission. He currently works as a research assistant for the Harvard Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.
