Archana Atmakuri

Archana Atmakuri is an independent AI governance researcher based in New Zealand and a researcher-coordinator for the Global Index on Responsible AI (GIRAI), a project of the Global Centre on AI Governance that establishes human rights-based benchmarks for AI across 138 countries. She was the AI Governance Summer Fellow at Good Ancestors, Australia, where her research focused on advancing regional interests through Australia’s AI Safety Institute. She advocates for human-centric AI.
